expiring contract

My current contract with verizon epires at the end of the month. It was a 1 year contract and I wonder if I should sign a 2 year one this time?...and if I do sign for 2 years...
then what do u think might be the early termination fee if I want to quit in after a year for example ???

if you sign a 2 yaer contract and quit after 1 year they will charge you $175. It doesn't matter if you had a 1 year contract before, if you sign the new 2 year, then you are locked in for 2 years.
