I have read that the P800 will have a video player, but I cant find any information on the video codecs that it will use. To be of any use any video would have to be highly compressed, which would make DIVX ideally suited for this application. Does anyone know if it will be possible to install a DIVX codec or is it more likely to be mpeg only.

It will be able to play DivX and MP4 format.

What is your source for this information, as I have trawled the web and found no information on the video player for the P800.

I just can't believe it. What processor does it have? How will it have the required processor power to do real-time Divx decoding?
Divx is just too tight.
