long distance/time zones

My boyfriend moved to utah recently. (i live in michigan) and his time zone is two hours behind us. it really stinks, but anyway, i was wondering. we both have verizon, and at 9 it's free. if i call him when it's 9 here, is the phone call still free? and will he be charged? i dont know if he has mobile to mobile. but i didnt think it costed anything different. if it does... that blows.. but i just wanted to know what we can do in this situation. also, texting. is it free if we're sending it to each other or do we have to pay for that too?

if you both are paying $10 a month for texting, that would include unlimited IN. As far as the different time zones go, since you are both on verizon it would be free no matter what, but if you are wondering if it would be free for him if he talked to any one that wasn't in verizon... no matter what he would have to wait untill it was 9:00 where he is.
