'just got the Samsung x426 phone with At&T....and have tried everything I know to get my wav as my ringtone. The manual refers to using the WAP browser to download. So I thought I could send the wav from my pop email acct as an attachment.
The first time, it returned 'too big'. Then I reduced the file size and sent again. But still don't see anyway to download and save the wav as a ringtone.
I've downloaded several software programs that promise to accomplish this task. But still no luck using them.
I'm unfamiliar with the '.mmf' to which u refer in this forum.
And I see that most of these programs require converting .wav to .midi. I have the idea that a midi file doesn't sound like the actual sound of the wav. Is there some way to load it as a ringtone with the original sound?
Help sincerely appreciated.
