Does anyone know where I can get a128 or 256 mb mmc card for my nokia 6230, have seen them on ebay but am a little reluctant to put my details on the net.

The nokia website does not seem to have them either in the products page. HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!??

32mb is just not enough. I`ve been told that they can only be purchased from Nokia as the card itself is thinner than any mmc you can buy from a shop. Is this true ??

Try newegg.com - very good prices, very reliable.

Thanks people for your advice!!!!

I now have a 256 mmc card in my 6230 phone now which I hopes improves the memory. I`ve checked the settings and the memory has indeed increased but when I now try to download mp3 files from my laptop I get the error message "you do no have enough memory for this file" whereas before it said that but allowed you the option of saving to the memory card. What am I doing wrong ???

Secondly no matter how big or small the file is it starts to copy but then comes up with the error "FILE SHARING ERROR OCCURRED ON YOUR COMPUTER". Can anybody help as this is SO FRUSTRATING!!!

This was the reason I bought the card so that I could download my own mp3`s!!!!! HELPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

If you have card-reader and windows XP you don't need any additional software

You could use till 512MB MMC. But in my experience, I have almost use memory 450MB on MMC, it will take more times to play music player (almost 1 min). I luv this phone but sometimes this phone annoying me.

You can get a 512 MB MMC card (http://www.cellup.com/None-phone-mmc-cellular-accessory-Search-part-SDIO-512MB.html) from CellUp.com (http://www.CellUp.com) for only $24.99, saving $75.00.

I think this is the maximum you can get from your phone.
With this type of card you can get all MP3 ringtones (http://ringtones.cellup.com/Ringtones-Category-52.aspx) you want.
