Can I have two numbers on one handset?

I happen two to have two separate Cingular plans, but as I don’t need the two plans any more, but I’d like to keep both numbers. So I’m wondering if it is possible with Cingular to have two phone numbers with one SIM card?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible. If you try to register the second number, you’ll be told that the SIM is already in use. What you can do, however, is to forward the calls to the number you want to use.
