I’ve decided to switch from Nextel service to Cingular, but I have a lot of contacts and I’d like to know if I can use the sim from my i730 with the 2 Razrs they’ll give me or I’ll have to re-type all my contacts?

May be you’ll have to re-type all your contacts, but if i730 can work with Motorola Phone Tools you can use them to save your contacts and then transfer them to the Razrs

Try using DATAPILOT (www.datapilot.com). I bought it @ Best Buy something like $75.00 and it came with the software & (9) nine cables for different type cell phones. On the other hand the greatest cell phone in the world is a Smartphone they sync with OUTLOOK using ActiveSync (free).

Some of the Cingular retail outlets have a machine that does this for you, they put both SIMs in the machine, and move the data for you...
Forgive me for my ignorance if this sounds silly to you, but I did not know that Nextel offered any GSM, and GSM phones are the only ones that take a SIM, are you sure your Nextel phone has a SIM? I thought they only used CDMA.

do not put a cingular sim chip in any other company's phone. it will lock the sim chip and if it is no longer active with cingular you can not get it unlocked. also, if you switched to nextel cingular will not provide this service to you.
