HTC Touch Pro 2 / Diamond 2 - Camera issues

Aren't the cameras the same for the two models?

How can they have such a diferent quality in the reviews? The photos taken with Touch Pro 2 are just horrible. The Diamond 2 photos are pretty much ok.
I really don't understand this.

Maybe I'm wrong but as far as I know overall performance only in half depends on a hardware side another half belongs to software. Sometimes small 'improvement' in software area makes whole thing rubbish. Such thing happens often on PC market where two pieces of hardware, physically identical but with different firmware, have also performance index surprisingly different.

That's very weird because the software of Touch Pro 2 is a update of the one in Diamond 2. If we can call that a update, because the only update is the landscape view in some menus.
That's very weird. How can a more advanced device, with the same camera, take worst photos?

I just want to make sure that it's not a reviewer error. Maybe some settings were wrong in Touch Pro 2...

The TP2 and D2 have different cameras.
Diamond2's got the better 5 megapixel,and the TP2 got the 3.2 mp.

I wouldn't doubt that the TP2 has worse quality photos
