Help Me Please!!

Ive just landed in Singapore to realise that I couldnt use my phone. I have a panasonic VS3 and was told that it had global roaming but once i got here it recieves no reception. If i buy a new sim card over here is there something for me to activate on my phone that can allow me and to make and recieve calls?? PLease help me!!

First, your SIM should have ROAMING activated (From your carrier) ! with coverage where you are. If not - buy a sim card of some local GSM carrier - make sure they operate in 900/1800 or 1900 MHz GSM band ! :)
