I bought the Lg decoy about 3 weeks ago. And I having huge problems with the bluetooth part of the phone. I bought a bluetooth stereo headphones which are the Motorola ht820. Now I have a 2gb micro sd card in the phone also but that doesen't matter yet. Anyway when I go to pair up the headphones with the decoy it goes really easy. But when it pairs up the phone doesen't hold the bluetooth connection very long and disconnects or drops the connection. Sometimes I can even make it through half of a song before the connection drops. I thought it might be the headphones not being compatible with the decoy. So today I went out and bought another pair of headphones. These are insignia Ns-bthdp bluetooth headphones. And i get the same problem with these headphones. As soon as it's paired with phone a couple seconds later it drops out. I thought it might be the phone itself. So i went to my dads house cause he also has the Lg decoy. And the same thing happens with his phone. My blood is about boiling. Cause I wanted to use the music player and bluetooth headphones for excercising and now I can't. I need any kind of help on how to keep the connection. Thanks

Do the following:
Menu > Setting and Tools > Phone Information > SW/HW Version
If you are running on VX8610V01, take your phone into a local VZW store and have them process the new software update that just came out about a week ago (LG8610V02). This should fix your bluetooth problems. :D

At first when I read your thread, I though you may have purchased a knockoff or something. But after reading it, it sounds like the frimware needs updating or something. Go to you service provider. Don't do it over the phone.

Software may fix the issue but just in case you didn't know, you can listen to music through the headset it came with too... It won't be stereo sound but it's actually not bad.

Also check which version of the decoy you have the one that comes with the bluetooth headset and try to pair those they play music through those headsets as well if you do make sure its off and not in the back charging had a problem like this with a customer was that but the software should fix it
