I have a Kyocera Slider Remix with Cricket service. I recently ordered Datapilot for my phone and the USB Data Cable that came with it was too large too fit my phone, even though the kit I ordered was listed under the accessories for my phone's make and model. I Then purchased another Data Cable from Cell-Phone-Accessories-Wholesale.com , the cable they sent me was also too large to fit my phone even though it was listed under the make and model of my phone. Maybe the Cricket version of the phone is different, I don't know but does anyone know where I can purchase the right data cable for my phone? I already called the cricket store, and they said that they had them but you had to buy them in a pack along with the memory card and earphones, i already have purchased a memory card and do not want to waste my money spending 70 dollars on the kit when all I need is the cable. One last question, you are suppose to plug in the data cable in the same place you plug in the charger, correct? I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I can't think of why else 2 companies would send me cables that do not fit my phone, other than me connecting it wrong. Well, anyways, thankyou to anyone who can help me.

Cricket probably does use a different cable than normal cell phone companies. And yes it would plug into the same spot as your charger cable. Thats why cricket forces you to buy a bundle for 70$ because they make their version slightly different.

thats gay, they make the phone so that it doesnt support bluetooth data transfer and then even the data cable you have to buy from there.... ridiculous!!!! its a nice phone but thats dumb...
