Hello all,

Was wondering if I could get some help; I just recently arrived at a new military installation for advanced training, and there is no native internet access here. So I went ahead and bought the Verizon VX6100 + Mobile Office Kit along with unlimited data access. The internet portion works well, however the problem is that the mobile office cable takes up the data port on the phone, which means at the moment I cannot keep the phone charged while using it as a modem. Was wondering, do they make any sort of Y-Cable to allow me to keep the phone charged while using it as a modem? If so where do I find one to buy?

Thank you very much in advance :)

I dont know if they make such a cable for spliting phones

but there is an easier solution...
a charging data cable

you can find them off eBay...while the phone is plugged into the computer via usb port, it also charges the phone

so you can surf the internet, and keep your phone charged
(yes it does work, I have one of these cables, never seen the need for it to charge too, but now I do...)
