Upcoming alltel phones?

I know Verizon bought Alltel or they are merging...however you want to say it. Is that the reason there are no upcoming phones listed for alltel? I found this -

Nevermind about the link on alltel's site - I just found it in the news on this site dated Oct 5th...I guess I'm a little behind. But that just makes me wonder more - is the merger the reason there are no upcoming phones listed for alltel?

Moto RAZR VE20

Samsung something or another

a new samsung touch phone coming out

and the Touch Diamond being released this thursday
