I hear and read about how everyone who has verizon always has good service... i never do. im alwyas dropping calls, and i never have any bars. I called Customer Service, and they said that theres nothing they can do about it, then i asked if it was a common problem where i live, (New Haven area of Connecticut) and she said no and started yelling at me when i was just talking to her in a normal tone. Has anyone else had this problem? id like to fix it, i mean i like the phones that VZW offers, but AT&T is looking better and better, and now that theyre releasing 4 QWERTY phones, i may switch, my contract is almost over...

So what should i do? VZW isnt great, nor good to say the least, and i dont want this to be an occuring thing.
THANK YOU!!

I have used sprint and T-mobile in the past and they have both sufficed for me, had service and bars almost everywhere in NJ. I also heard VZW is great not sure about ATT. It would also help to find out from others which provider gives the best coverage/service in your area. You can start by looking at the carrier's coverage maps on the website. Here is the advise though, try out what you like most and if you don't like it then walk away. I would of course make sure that there are no financial conseqences to this action prior to signing anything. The point is that you should get the same quality as others for the same price so if you believe you are being ripped off then don't continue with the service. Also, any company that has aggressive and non supportive customer service doesn't deserve to be your money.

There is my two cents, hope it helps.

I have had good service with VZW, except when I travel in areas predominately ATT. That can't be helped. Service also depends on the phone you have. Motorola generally have the best service. I am using a Motorola V9m and I have great service almost every where I go. I hear that Samsung has the worst. Always use your phone where you live for the 30 days you can always take it back. It may be the phone.

I have never been talked to that way from a VZW customer service rep. I have a few relatively rude ones, but I have never been yelled at. Generally, VZW has gone to great strides to improve their customer support staff and protocols. At one time, their customer service pretty much sucked. I would venture that your incident was isolated. Maybe it is calling areas too. I live in Tennessee, maybe there is a difference in regions. They might have just been having a bad day (not that that is an excuse).

Lastly, make sure you are dealing with VZW corporate store and not a retail vendor.
