I am going to switch to Verizon soon but have been holding off because i just can't seem to find a phone that sits comfortably with me. I haven't tested any phones out myself yet but have done massively extensive research about many of the verizon and other carrier models and now I come to you the experts and knowledgeable people. Here is what i want in a phone

1) Good Reception and Call Quality: It has to be a reliable phone before anything else.
2) Good Battery life: it should last at least 4 hours talk time and about 3-4 days standby.
3) Camera: This is not as vital as the 2 above but i would really love to have camera on phone that takes relatively good pics to its lens size; 1.3 or 2 megapix will do.
4) Don't care for a key board, internet, tv, navigation: Not that i wouldn't get a phone with these features, just that they aren't important to me
5) I really do not want a touch screen: just don't like that type of interface.
6) Flip or clam shell form preferred but a slider that is easy to lock down will also do.

Overall I just want a phone to make calls with and send out texts occasionally. And take a picture every now and then.

So far i am considering the Sway, Z6c or Z6tv, Chocolate 3, or Moto W755. Your advise, and comments are appreciated.
THANK YOU in advance.

I would get either the Chocolate 3 or the Sway. I have the Chocolate 3 and have great luck with it. Great battery life and everything.

The Chocolate 3 is the best way to go. Not only is LG the best quality brand out right now, this phone does what you need it to do and so much more. Take it from a VZW rep that deals with these phones on a daily basis.

I would look into the Moto Krave as well, Pretty nice Touch screen Clam shell device

Well, the Sway and Chocolate 3 are at the top of my list but i seem to be reading about major flaws in both. The Sways seems to be great as far as software by the phone lacks any kind of grip that can be used to open it with one hand which appears that it could become quite frustrating to just open the phone. The Chocolate seems to have the opposite set up with great design but software flaws such as freezing glitches and random restarts. But as I have said i have not had the pleasure (or pain) of testing either of these devices and am judging from others' testimony. As far as the Krave, it does look interesting but it is too new to know what it is really about and it is also too expensive for me.

I do appreciate the advice so far and please keep it coming.
Thanks

The Chocolate 3 came out with a software update to fix the freezing and random shut downs. So I would keep that still in your thoughts. Usually anything LG is the way to go with Verizon phones. They tend to have the least problems. I have the LG enV2 and I love it. Had it since May and have yet to have a problem with it. Some of that model had some problems with freezing, but they have since come out with a software update to fix that. You may consider that phone too.
The Motorola W755 seems to be a pretty good model too. Have rarely had it come in with problems. The z6c seem to be a pretty good phone too, but its a global phone. If you don't need the global capability then you may want to just go with the z6tv.
The Sway is such a new phone, I couldn't tell you if its good or bad yet. We just got it this week. If you are leaning toward the Sway, you may want to wait a few weeks to see if anyone has any issues with it before you buy it.
Welcome to Verizon Wireless! We are glad to have you!
