View Full Version : Verizon sales rep?

My question is, how do I become one? I live in So Cal and there are many Verizon stores around here. What kind of stuff do I need to know. I know about phones and most of the technologies used behind them. Another question, Is it hard to find a job like that? The only experience I have selling things in Air Conditioning stuff, haha.

Lets just say it took me 6 months. And i had to really know somebody to get in honestly i worked for US Cell before and that helped out alot having that pervious cell phone expierence. We do a extensive background check so pretty much the best of the best are only allowed in our company

I am talking about how extensive are background check is what store do you work at?

background checks are pretty extensive. the check employment history as well as do a credit check in most cases. Obviously they do criminal background checks as well. From what ive seen its pretty hard to get into verizon in some areas. Ive been working with verizon for 4 years now and we have very very few new people comming in. most of the people i work with have been with verizon for atleast 3 or 4 years
