View Full Version : Can I use the Verizon VX6100 "Mobile Office Kit" cable with Bitpim?

I just bought the VX6100 "Mobile Office Kit" from Verizon in the hopes of using it with Bitpim to download pictures taken with the phone (which I bought from them). Just before I was about to open the package, however, I read this forum and now I am confused about all the data cables out there. One of the respondents suggests that the data cable in the "Mobile Office Kit" will not allow me to download pictures. I don't see why not, as the office kit also includes a phonebook manager software (suggesting that it does allow data transfer). Don't they all work the same way?? I want to make sure before I open the package since Verizon says I cannot return it once it is opened. Can anyone give me a definitive answer?

Thanks,

Yes U may. I been doing that myself. PS: Can also use same cables and chargers for the LG vx8100 as well for those who decide to upgrade (like myself)
