Samsung Instinct Or Razr2 V9m??

I have a choice between the samsung instinct and the razr2 v9m. I know that the razr2 v9m is from motorola and that its kinda off topic. So i told myself "Hey i guess i hould get the samsung instinct its touchscreen and newer than the razr2 v9m". So i asked my carrier what phone i should get, and the guy said " they're both great phones but go with the razr2 because the samsung instinct is too delicate, it will brake if you drop it and not work anymore, so I said OK...... So is the samsung instinct a delicate phone and will it really brake and not work anymore if you drop it or do something else?? Also which phone is better in terms of features, design performance etc.??
