Samsung sgh s400i - help, unwanted tone!

Can anyone help me to switch off a tone that I get whenever I SEND an SMS? Thanks. It's nowhere in the manual.

This is now sorted. As outlined in a previous query on this forum, the fone needs to be put into quiet mode by pressing and holding down the #key. Once in quiet mode, everything is turned off, and a ring tone or message alert tone can be turned on separately. This is not in the manual.
