I recently upgraded my phone from a very basic (free with plan) clamshell phone to the LG Dare. I like some of the features of the Dare, but really dislike the touch screen. I've only had it a couple weeks so I'm going to trade it in this weekend for something else. I'm looking for a clamshell style phone without anything touch screen. I really like the look of the Casio Boulder, but have read that the sound quality is pathetic, so it is out of the picture. From what I've seen these are my best options:

Motorola 750 Adventure
LG Chocolate 3
Samsung Flipshot
LG VX 8350

Out of these I like the Chocolate 3 and the 750 the best. I've read that the back of the 750 is somewhat flimsy and could possibly fall off. The only thing I don't like about the Chocolate 3 is that it is a kids phone (right?).

What would you guys go with? I know this might seem like a small decision to some, but I like to think things through especially since I'm going to be using this thing for the next 2 years.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think the LG Choc 3 is a kids phone...check out PhoneArena's video reviews. the LG got very high marks. Also, if you're heavy into texting, consider the LG enV or Voyager. Even consider the Blackberry Curve. However, if you want a little more durability, the Moto seems to be tougher in design...

LG in my opinion is your best bet.

Chocolate 3 isn't a kids phone, it has pretty much the same capabilities as the 8350, except the controls are on the outside.

They only difference between the two is the form of the phone, choco3 is slimmer ANd the choco3 3 has a 2.0 mp camera vs the 1.3 on the 8350.

I'd go into a store and see which one feels best in your hands and the most comfortable to use, thats whats important.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to go with the Chocolate 3. I really like the look/feel of the 750, but if the back is as bad as people say I don't want anything to do with it. I've seen far too many phones that have had to be taped shut on back so that the back doesn't fall off.
