New Verizon phones?

Okay so my boss gave me a list of phones that we were going to get for Verizon and I don't know any information about them... anyone have any info?

Samsung
u650 sway- i am guessing replaces the 550, but I don't know the specs
u800 ozone
u440
u430-i am guessing replaces the 410, but I don't know the specs
u310 knack -i am guessing replaces the 340, but I don't know the specs

LG
8360-i am guessing replaces the 8350, but I don't know the specs
5500-i am guessing replaces the 5400, but I don't know the specs

Blackberry
Thunder - okay i know about this one, can't wait!!!!

ive heard of all of those, the 8360 is the one im looking the most forward to, because the 8350 is a nightmare, nothing even close to the 8300

Samsung Knack SCH-u310 will launch on the internet, VZW stores and telesales via D-fill only starting September 3rd.

And it will launch in all channels on October 14th.

Full retail will be $159.99
1 year price will be $109.99
2 year price will be $39.99

And there's not a mention of a mail in rebate.

From what I can tell(and this is just a guess), the VZW Coupe is on "end of life" (meaning they are being phased out for those who don't know what that means) and the Knack has all the ICE features and big buttons,
I'm just guessing that this is replacing the Coupe, but I could be wrong, again its just speculation.


The Samsung SCH-u430 will launch all channels, the launch date will depend on the sell thru of the SCH-u410.

1 year price will be $149.99
2 year price will be $79.99

Those prices are before the $50 rebate!

I have more info on all of the phones you posted.

The Samsung Sway won't indeed replace the u550 because if you look, the Sway is a slider, the u550 is a flip, and has 3G, apparently, there will not be 3G on the Sway. The u800 I've never heard of. Can someone post a pic? Also, the u440 will not be out. The u430 does indeed replace the u410, u410 is free while supplies last, the u430 is free, is already out. The u310 Knack has no camera, the u340 does, and the u310 Knack will not be replacing the u340. It is $39.99, and out already. The VX-8360 will replace the VX-8350, I see it in Verizon's newest brochure. The VX-5500 will probably replace the VX-5400, though I'm not sure. The Thunder will be renamed the Storm 9350. Final pictures have been released.

The Coupe doesn't say while supplies last, but the phone has a lower price of $19.99.

These phones say while supplies last, and are being phased out:

Does anyone know when the Treo 800w will be coming to Verizon? I've been hearing October 12, 08, but when I spoke to a Verizon store representative (who was very nice, BTW), he didn't have it listed in his computer as an upcoming phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What does this phone look like? specs?

An LG rep told me today it looked similar to the 8350( I sure hope not).

Have been waiting to replace my 8100 and was holding out for the 8360 but won't bother waiting if it's round and ugly like the 8350.
