HAHA

The migo was actually a great idea for Verizon, they were hitting the market that isn't doing good, which are kids 5-12, we should bring it back.

I was telling my team during our last meeting that the blitz reminds me of that fat kid who got picked last for everything, the one you feel slightly bad for but then and then still make fun of them behind their back. Plus you're mad at the parents(VZW in this case) for not being more strict with their child's appearance.

bahaha

I'm horrible

Someone just exchanged the Curve for the blitz. I almost cried. The screen quality is a joke. The Keyboard is just a recycled design from the i730 except now it is impossible to actually type anything on. Why did they release this? Seriously? It's not VCast capable which is good because that would force people to look at the screen for more than 5 minutes which I can only assume inflicts some sort of blindness.

Why?!

They need to make more phones non-vcast capable

I'm sick of stupid parents who just hand their kids phones and don't think twice.

When my daughter is old enough to get a cell phone, you can bet your ass that I'm making sure she can only call and text. Why wait for your kid to mess up? Prevent it!

Back to the Blitz, you should have smacked the curve exchanger

Should have either smacked him with a stick and said "no!" or grabbed his head and rubbed his nose in it like a dog who went on the carpet.

I know we've come out with some less than exceptional phones lately, but this is just a disgrace

I think the punishment for that kind of exchange should be a manditory opening of a second line with any of the following phones: Razr, Krazr, Slivr, V265, V276, V260, Q.

On the contrary!

The customer was looking for a "less than" experience...

You should have just led him over to the T-MOB store ;)

In all fairness one thing T-Mobile does that I wish Verizon would do is unlock the bluetooth and allow us to write and test java applications on the phone. (I.E. How the Doom RPG was born).

One day, if enough people complain

Eh we'll see, I'd like manufacturer UI more than vzw UI

I'm one of those crazy people tha bought this thing. I actually am liking it so far: keep in mind i only use a phone for texting and making calls. i'm fine with the texting on this thing, since my fingers are small. my only MAJOR issue is: When I plug in a headset, the volume is ridicuously low, even when I turn it all the way up. Is there some sort of governor restricting the volume?

That's a good question. They had a simular issue with the BlackBerry 8830 and a software upgrade was created to solve that problem. I can only assume you are not the only person with that issue so I would honestly expect an update pushed to the stores shortly.

On another note I agree with Anomalies about enjoying the manufactuer UI instead of the VZW UI. Actually I think the Java topic would go hand in hand with not having VZW having a universal UI on all their phones (minius PDAs). If NPS really does change things, I'm going to start spamming this subject in the hopes something would change. It should be an option to switch between the two (like that will ever happen <_<).

in fairness to verizon, i dont think they are targeting the blitz to adults....its more of a 'my first sony meets the blackberry' targeted at the younger generation...i personally think the release of this phone is genius

Yeah its big and not the coolest on the block, but its a great starter phone for the lower teens and younger for the texter in mind. UTStarcom kind of scares me though.
