I spoke with a possible new customer today- he has T-Mobile and is disgusted with the service he is getting, and he has been treated poorly every time he tries to get any sort of assistance from any TMobile employee he has spoken to.

He still has over a year left in his contract and doesnt want to pay the deactivation fee. I did explain to him that he signed a contract and it was more than likely that he would have to pay it, but I was curious if there were any tricks to TMobile and getting out of a contract. If so, what to say, do, and who to speak with.

Understandably I wont be upset with the 3489059874 replies I get saying that he cant, its called a contract. He knows this, he just wants to try.

well, if T-Mobile changes his bill, service or coverage area. he can get out of contract free of charge with no ETF because it is written in the contract as such

Try claiming the recent change in the rates of texts...
I know T-Mobile allowed customers no ETF for that.

has to be within the same bill cycle as you get the letter though...
