Samsung INNOV8 discussion

What do you guys think about the bigger brother of the OMNIA. It is Symbian based as compared to the WM Pro on OMNIA, and also has slightly better specs.

Well INNOV8 is going to have a slider keypad where as the OMNIA is strictly a touchscreen interface. Also the INNOV8 will come in a 8GB and a 16GB version with expandable microSD.

There's not much yet on the UI so I can't really judge anything on that yet.

Also I wonder what US carrier it's going to be on.

Well the OMNIA too has 8-16 GB internal memory and microSDHC slot so memory wise they are the same. The INNOV8 is symbian based and that is the main reason it has a keyboard ;) (it may come with the S60 touch interface, but it is very unlikely). The screen is 16milion colors which is far superior than the one on the OMNIA. And the last main difference is the camera.

All in all i prefer the INNOV8 over the OMNIA.

The INNOV8 is more stylish than OMNIA (at least on the spy shots). I hope it won't come with touch interface (i really hate touch phones), and will provide good quality photos.

1. I8510 screen under sunlight visability is much better the Omnia.
2. Speed wise both are good, I8510 is having a 330Mhz processer.
3. Louder and better sound output than Omina since I8510 having 2 speakers.
4. Battery wise 1440 Vs 1200, however both are good.

I own both and i personally prefer I8510 because of the keypad and more productive in SMS. The camera is another resaon i switch over to I8510.

yes, I am agree dear INNOV 8GB is more stylis that's why more expensive.
