LG Dare vs. Blackberry 8330

ok, i am a new user here, but i am looking for advice. in a little bit i will be able to replace my lg vx8300. while i know these phones are very different from the outside, heres what i am looking for:

-build quality(see photo)
-call quality
-battery life
-unit functionality and ease of use (touch screen must be good, like iphone good)
-extra features (can i add programs to the blackberry like i can to the palm and iphone 2.0?
-camera quality

anyways, any advice would be greatly appreciated, notice how beat up my old phone is, i will take much better care of my new phone, but i still will get beat up - btw, my old phone still works perfectly

Well I see that the lgvx 8300 has been very good to you,

in the case of build quality, both bb 8330 and the lg dare are both great, but for how it looks how you take care of your phone, i would not go towards a touch screen. Think of it as a baby, you need to protect it and take care of it. Now even the bb 8330 is great also, having a larger screen still can put you in that same boat.

....there is one thing that will help, for this situation. BB 8330 has a protection guard case, this thing has a skeleton structure around the phone, silicone padding for the second layer and a screen and keyboard protector.

If you were to get that with the BB 8330, i think you will be very happy with your product, web, customize system, camera, features and downloads.
