I have had my LG VX8300 for over 2 years and have been extremely happy with this phone. I don't necessarily need music or web browsing, not to say i wouldn't buy a phone with those capabilities. I just want a phone that I will be as happy with as my current phone in terms of dependability and great signal. The 8300 by far has had the best reception of any phone I have owned. So lets hear your suggestions....Chocolate 3, Dare, ENV2, others?? I am a fan of LG, so it will take some convincing to move in another direction.

I prefer LG also, if you want to keep a phone like you have now, take a baby step to the 8350!

I have some reps that have that phone, and I don't care much for it. Kinda boring.

8350 would be a decent phone providing you don't mind having a phone that has known issues with feedback in the speakerphone and a hinge that likes to crack on the right side

I too have owned the LG-VX8300 for two years. I'm also very happy with this phone, but I recently ordered the Dare. It seems like a great phone! So, that's my recommendation to you. :D

Stick with what you know is what i say. Id recomend the env2 only if you text alot and i would recomend the chocolate 3 for anyone interested in music. As for the average user( calls and txt) take a look at moto rizer phone. its simple yet has all the compatibility you might like for later use.

Why do you say you would only recommend the enV2 if you text alot? Do you feel that the phone is otherwise sub-par? I understand that it does have the keyboard, which is a big plus for texting. How is the signal-strength, dependability, etc..?
