With a 6.44” display isn’t this just way too big? Or is it just the right size for media consumption. There are always two points of view.

That means it can be used under water to depths of 1.5 meters (just under 5 feet) for up to 30 minutes.
The CPU is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core unit tuned to 1.5GHz. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is on board with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage (microSD up to 32GB). The display is 4.55-inches, TFT 1280x720 which works out to 323PPI. The main camera is a 13MP Exmor RS sensor.

Sony Xperia L

Sony Xperia L is a stylish mid-range device that stands out primarily with photographic skills. There's an 8MP camera on its back with an Exmor RS sensor that enables cool features like HDR mode while shooting photos or video, just like on the Xperia Z flagship. In addition, you get a dedicated shutter key that can snap a photo in under a second straight from the lock screen.
Other than that, the Sony Xperia L is your typical mid-range device. It is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus SoC - the Qualcomm MSM8230 running at 1GHz. The 4.3-inch screen has a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels so it isn't quite HD, although it should meet the needs of the average consumer. You can have the smartphone in any color, as long as it is black, white, or red. The exact capacity of the Xperia L battery has not been disclosed, but it should be capable of delivering up to 8 hours and 30 minutes of continuous talk time, or 7 hours and 36 minutes of video playback. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes out of the box, sprinkled with a number of interface tweaks on top.

Sony Xperia SP

The Sony Xperia SP sports aluminum frame and Sony's NXT design cues, with an illuminated transparent strip at the bottom, which pulsates in different colors, depending on the notification. Still, we get this year's power/lock key, and a variety of different colors.
It also sports a generous 4.6" 720p display, 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro, 1GB of RAM, and an 8 MP Exmor RS camera sensor to round up a good mid-range package. It is still amazing that now we are calling such a handset mid-range, but that's the law of the land in the Android world. The handset is likely destined for the European and Asian markets with price tag rumors hovering around the EUR 300 mark SIM-free.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z

The big news about Sony's Xperia Z Android tablet is not that it sports a 1920x1200 pixels display and quad-core processor - after all, we had the iPad 3/4 and Nexus 10 before it - but that the Full HD resolution screen is crammed into an extremely thin 6.9mm waterproof chassis, with stellar design to boot. It is also the first Xperia slate to feature the signature power button design as a new design hallmark of Sony's Xperia line.

Sony Xperia ZL

If you thought Xperia Z is amazing, but could make do without the waterproof part of it, Sony's got you covered, as it introduced the Xperia ZL sibling, with an even more compact design. With its 5.18" x 2.74" x 0.38", it is shorter than the Z, and a soft-touch curved back nestles it comfortably in your palm grip.
The microSIM and microSD slots are situated under a large flap at the back bottom, and the phone is graced with a dedicated shutter key, unlike the glassy, watertight Z.
Specswise it is identical - a 5" Full HD screen with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, and the typical for the tech weak viewing angles, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, and a 13 MP rear cam with HDR video capabilities. The funky part here is not only the circular power/lock key on the right, but also the front-facing camera, which is situated in the lower right corner of the phone, where you are used to find one of the Android navigational keys, which here are on-screen.
Besides the shape and size, there is a slight difference in battery capacity between the two - the ZL has a sealed 2,370 mAh unit, which is a tad bigger than the one in the Z. The long-rumored IR blaster is indeed here, with the accompanying app that allows you to use the phone as a remote control for a wide variety of TVs, home stereos and other assorted electronics around the house.

Sony Xperia Z

The specs on the Xperia Z are what we expected from the rumors. It will be a 5" 1080p display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, LTE, a 2330mAh battery, and the highly anticipated new 13MP Exmor RS camera sensor. As we saw in leaked images, the Exmor RS camera sensor will allow for HDR video recording, and a newly announced feature is that it will also offer a 10fps burst mode at 9MP. The phone also has NFC and a microSD card for those of you looking for that.
An interesting addition to the Xperia Z is that the phone will be water resistant to a depth of one meter. To achieve this, the Xperia Z has glass panels on the front and back, as well as plastic strips on the sides that cover the ports. And, they cover all of the ports from microSD card slot, to headphone jack, to microUSB.
The phone will be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is part of the reason why the March release date is so disappointing, because that will be coming up on Google I/O and the expected announcement of Android 5.0, although Sony has promised an upgrade to 4.2 "soon after launch".

Sony Xperia E dual

Sony Xperia E dual is an affordable and compact dual SIM handset. The stand-out feature Sony wants us to note in the Xperia E is HD Voice, the purpose of which is to noticeably boost the sound quality of phone calls. When it comes to specs, the Xperia E will deliver a mid-range experience with its 3.5" HVGA touchscreen and 1GHz processor. Let's hope that Jelly Bean's Project Butter will help get rid of the lag. Sony also claims that we'll be surprised by the battery life of the device. The 1500 mAh battery will benefit from a special extended stand-by mode designed to increase overall battery life. Basically, when the phone's sleeping, it will disable all functions except for calling and messaging, and once you wake it up, all functions will be restored to their normal state. Of course, users will be able to enjoy Sony's "Walkman" music experience, as well as the xLOUD sound technology, which works really well in most Sony smartphones.

Sony Xperia E

Sony Xperia E is an affordable and compact for today's standards featuring Sony's recognizable design language. Specs-wise, the Xperia T is equipped with a large 4.6” HD BRAVIA display, which will obviously take advantage of the Mobile BRAVIA engine that enhances media for your viewing pleasure. This, however, isn't where the interesting features of this display end. Sony has also employed its WhiteMagic technology here in the Xperia T. Internal memory is 4GB, but thankfully we have a microSD card slot to expand that with up to 32GB more. The showstopper here is the battery - it is not every day that we see a 1750mAh in a 4" affordable device, and Sony is quoting the excellent 8 hours and 30 minutes of video playback with it. In fact, Sony claims that their Xperia V offers the highest grade of water resistance among all smartphones available today. What you'll find under the hood of the Sony Xperia V is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The 4.3-inch Reality Display on its front has a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels, and its main camera can take photos at 13 megapixels. Not too shabby for something that is also meant to resist the elements, don't you think? The unit itself is 10.7 millimeters thick, which is a bit on the chubby side, but at least it is rather light as it tips the scales at only 120 grams. The smartphone will come in white, black, and pink. On the software side of things, expect Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running out of the box, further enhanced using Sony's usual set of Android customization tweaks. Also, Sony's Music Unlimited service will come pre-installed, with a free 60-day trial for everyone who buys the smartphone.

Sony Xperia Tablet S

Sony Xperia Tablet S seems to be the spiritual successor of Sony Tablet S. With the Xperia Tablet S, the Japanese have emphasized on what they are so good at – design. The Xperia Tablet S is a very elegant device, with a thin body and a nice, differentiating fold element at the upper end. Sony fit a sizable bright 9.4-inch IPS LCD display with an okay resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The device comes with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, but Sony has promised it will soon bump it up to Jelly Bean. Powering the device is a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, so we can be sure that performance will be top-notch, as long as Sony doesn't mess something up as far as software goes. The camera of the Xperia Tablet S should be pretty decent, with Sony's great heritage in this area. The Tablet S comes with an 8-megapixel main unit, complemented by a 1-megapixel front-facing one. When it comes to ports you have a full-sized SD port, USB and HDMI. The tablet keeps the IR sensor from the original Tablet S and doubles as a remote control.

Sony Xperia SL

Sony Xperia SL is an upgraded version of the Sony Xperia S. It tips the scales at 3.35 ounces, or a mere 95 grams, and is 0.37-inch (9.4mm) thick. The light weight comes from a comparatively small, 3.7-inch qHD display (boosted with Sony’s BRAVIA engine for vibrant colors), resulting in a relatively compact body. Under the hood, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM powers Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Design wise, you’re looking at a rectangular, minimalistic slab available in black and white that should be universally appealing. Sony is also bringing an 8-megapixel sensor with its Exmor R technology for better low-light performance, and the camera is capable of taking 3D panoramic photos. A front-facing, 1.3-megapixel camera will make video calls easier. There’s 8 gigs of internal storage. The Xperia SX will come with the typical range of additions for the Japanese market - an infrared port, mobile TV and mobile wallet.

Sony Xperia neo L

Sony Xperia neo L is a mid-range smartphone running Android ICS. What kind of magic we are talking about, you ask? Well, you know how when you surf the web on your computer you can hover over links with your mouse cursor? You can do that on the Xperia sola by placing your finger over the item that you want to highlight without actually tapping on the display. Floating touch is what Sony calls it, and it is a feature that the Xperia sola will be the first to brag with.
When it comes to specs, the Xperia sola comes with a 3.7-inch display enhanced with Mobile BRAVIA engine for superior image quality. Inside it ticks a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, and on its back we have a 5-megapixel camera that can capture HD video. You also get Sony's xLOUD technology for boosting the audio's volume without distorting it, and NFC with support for Xperia SmartTags. The smartphone will launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, yet fortunately, an update to Ice Cream Sandwich is planned for the summer of 2012.

Sony Xperia P

Sony Xperia P is supposed to stand out of the crowd with its 4.0-inch qHD display manufactured using Sony's very own WhiteMagic technology, the device's screen is capable of delivering brightness superior to that of any other smartphone on the market today, according to Sony. Thanks to that, the screen's outdoor visibility should be outstanding, to say the least. Looking further down its specs sheet, we see a dual-core chipset providing the Sony Xperia P with processing power. Responsible for capturing those special moments is an 8-megapixel camera residing on the smartphone's back. What is really cool about the camera is that it should be capable of booting really fast straight from the lock screen.

Sony Xperia U

Sony Xperia U is a stylish and compact handset, and one of its biggest virtues seems to be customization. That is why the designers called it Xperia U, from well... "you". You can quickly swap the bottom cap in something of different color, if you are so inclined, to match your playful or business mood and time of the day. Not only that, but there is this color matching illuminated bar at the bottom, which is the trademark of the new "Iconic Identity" style of the upcoming Xperias. It is transparent, but yet full of LED light of different colors, and also houses the antenna for better connectivity.

Sony Xperia ion

Sony Xperia ion is the first phone that is just Sony (no Ericsson here), which was expected after Sony bought the Ericsson share out of the joint venture. It is landing exclusively on AT&T's LTE network, just to spice things up. It is the first dual-core Xperia phone; it features 4.55" HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon, 16GB of internal memory, plus a whopping 12MP camera with Exmor R sensor. As was mentioned, the Sony Xperia ion will sport LTE connectivity, rounding up a pretty formidable Android high-end, which we can't wait to get our mitts on, and give this 12MP camera on the back the review treatment. Sony claims that it takes under two seconds to get the camera from standby mode to image capture, so speed will be on our side with the humongous 12MP sensor as well.

Sony Xperia S

Sony Xperia S is packing a 4.3-inch display with 720 by 1280 pixels of resolution and a MSM8260 dual-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. 12-megapixel camera with an Exmor R sensor will be present on its back side, a front-facing shooter is present as well.
