It is not easy to replicate Sony's achievement, as the Xperia Tablet Z also sports all bells and whistles we've come to expect from a modern day slate at a reasonable price, plus four 3D surround sound speakers, thus shaping it as arguably the best Android tablet around, on paper at least...

Sony Xperia L Review

The Sony Xperia L is a mid-range device that screams Sony from the first look. The Sony Xperia S39h is allegedly coming to China, which can be deduced from the name of the handset. According to the Xperia Blog, Sony's 2013 releases are now given a CXXXX title except for models heading to China which are still using the old S/M/L naming structure for small/medium/large handsets.

Facebook Home arrives on Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and Sony Xperia ZL

Facebook Home might have one of the worst ratings of all popular apps on the Google Play store, but with 1 million downloads and counting it seems that people still download it…

Calling all developers: Sony kills publishing fee for PlayStation Mobile and Vita

Some may say that this is a last ditch effort by Sony to save its floundering mobile gaming platforms, and those people probably wouldn't be too far off. Even though the PlayStation Vita is a great piece of hardware, the software simply isn't there. And, even though PlayStation Mobile can't be found on too many mobile devices, it could also use more games. The Sony Xperia A is what it's called – a moniker we've actually heard before, and the FCC is where detailed information about it has just been discovered. Granted, it was mostly due to asset sales and restructuring savings, rather than the TV or smartphone departments, but CEO Kaz Hirai forecasted a stellar 2013, with 42 million smartphones sold, and $506 million in net profit, but from operations, bot fat-trimming this time...

Sony Xperia SP available for U.S. pre-order

Back in April, we told you that U.K retailer Phones 4U had started accepting pre-orders for the Sony Xperia SP with the mid-range handset being offered for free with various EE data plans; the phone is now available for pre-order from the U.S. Sony Store priced at $489.99 with the phone expected to ship starting on May 20th...

Sony CX190 to be a humble 4" Android coming late summer, camera sample leaks

An upcoming Sony CX190 is making the rounds on the Interwebs, and it seems to fit squarely below the Xperia SP and the Xperia L.
