Today, we're moving back to the world of speculation a bit, because these supposedly new photos of the Motorola X Phone without the NDA cover aren't new at all, but leaked back in March...

Motorola X Phone pics surface: these are real folks! Pics have been released by EvLeaks, who has a more positive than not reputation for good leaks, showing the Motorola X Phone. Unfortunately, you can't really see much of the actual phone, because it is wearing a black case that is hiding the phone itself...

Motorola X Phone may come in over 20 colors

There have been persistent rumors that the Motorola X Phone would be offering hardware customizations, bolstered by Guy Kawasaki’s cryptic comments on the subject. Our source at Motorola has said that hardware customizations are unlikely, but it looks like there may be at least a bit of customization to look forward to with a variety of colors...

Motorola working on 'just right' size Android device, coming in the second half of 2013

Motorola has been suspiciously quiet in the last few months, but that sounds like the silence preceding a storm...

Facebook Home is not a threat to Android or Google (neither is Samsung or Amazon)

There is always a lot of talk around products that are supposedly "threats to Android" or "threats to Google", but we think that those arguments are looking at the puzzle the wrong way. Facebook Home is something wholly different and interesting, but it isn't a threat to Android. Samsung is by far the dominant handset maker in the Android ecosystem, but it isn't a threat to Google. Amazon completely forked Android and stripped out Google all together, but you know what? It isn't a threat to Google...

Motorola X Phone release slips to "August or later"

It looks like work on the mysterious Motorola X Phone is not going as quickly as hoped. We had been hearing that the device was slated for release in late June or July, but new word from our sources say that the release date has actually slipped to "August or later". There's no word on why the release date has been pushed back though...

Motorola has at least 3 phones in the pipeline after the X Phone

Yesterday, there were a couple new rumors that came out regarding Motorola, the X Phone. Most of the info pertained to things that we had already talked about. Our source has confirmed that it is unlikely that the X Phone will have hardware customization, and the release window has always been for late June or July, so there has been no delay. We're all eager to hear more about the Motorola X Phone, but if you're looking for hard information, that's not what we have here. Above all, the biggest stand out that we notice with the smartphone, is the compact form factor it’s sporting for a device packing along a 4.3” display...
