HTC First

HTC First is the first Android phone that will come with preinstalled Facebook Home which is designed around people instead of prioritizing apps like other phone interfaces do. By doing so, the software aims to deliver a more personal experience to Facebook users. At the same time, it should be easy to use with its minimalist, simple interface. As soon as the phone is turned on, the user's list of notification appears with their profile picture at the bottom. Need to dismiss something? Then all it takes is a swipe to the side. A swipe up brings the list of all installed applications.

Something that's unique to Facebook Home is the Chat Heads feature (and no, we aren't making that name up). Simply put, when you're in a chat with someone, it puts an icon with their picture in the screen's corner for quick and easy access. There is even a counter that shows how many lines of text you've missed.

Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung prides itself in the differentiation the AMOLED screen technology brings to its high-ends, and it has indeed achieved the unthinkable with the Galaxy S 4 this time around - a five-inch panel with the amazing for OLED screen 441ppi pixel density.
Not only that, but it debuts the first octo-core Exynos 5 Octa processor in the international version, as well as a temperature and depth sensor for the first time.
With features like Floating Touch and hand gestures you can control the phone without even touching the display, while the S Health and S Translator integration add to the unique aura around the S 4 as a truly human companion.

HTC One

The HTC One is HTC’s 2013 Android flagship, a hugely important device aiming to change the dynamics for HTC. To do that, the HTC One improves in four major areas - camera quality with a new BSI camera with optical image stabilization and UltraPixel technology, a premium metal unibody design, a new simplified HTC Sense Android experience and enhanced stereo sound.
The HTC One also features a 4.7-inch 1080p full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 600, a quad-core chip, up to 40% more powerful than the Snapdragon S4 Pro.

LG Optimus G Pro

The LG Optimus G Pro is a high-end Android smartphone offering one of the largest screens to ever grace a handset's front. Its 5.5-inch IPS-LCD display has a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, which translates to excellent pixel density and impressive level of image detail. But at the same time, LG has made the phone as narrow as possible by minimizing the width of the bezel surrounding its screen.
Under the hood of the LG Optimus G Pro we see a powerful quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC running at 1.7GHz alongside 2GB of RAM for seamless multitasking - specs that place it pretty high in the hierarchy of current Android smartphones. The main camera offers 13MP of resolution while the 2MP front-facing camera can take 1080p videos. The four rows of hardware keys are situated underneath a high-resolution, 720 by 720 pixel touchscreen measuring 3.1 inches in diagonal. The screen is 4.2" LCD with 1280 x 768 pixels, making for a pixel density of 356 pixels per inch. A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 2 GB of RAM are the power under the hood, and there are 16 GB of internal storage, as well as the all-important microSD card slot.

Thanks to its 4:3 aspect ratio, the iPad mini is actually superior to 7-inch tablets with a wide ratio. That is due to the more surface area available on the device's screen, which results in a richer web browsing experience.

Apple iPad 4

The fourth-generation iPad keeps the amazing screen resolution and general look and feel of its predecessor, but bumps up the specs with double the processing power and double the graphics power. Quite the contrary, the One VX seems to be pretty well-equipped exactly where it counts. The new quad-core Tegra 3+ processor is souped up at 1.7GHz for the phone, but this is not all - the HTC One X+ rights all wrongs by offering a larger 2,100 mAh battery, the generous 64 GB of internal memory, and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean - an all-around great package.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is an Android tablet featuring a 10.1 inch screen with several Samsung apps pre-loaded such as Media Hub and Smart Remote. Specs-wise, the Xperia T is equipped with a large 4.6” HD BRAVIA display, which will obviously take advantage of the Mobile BRAVIA engine that enhances media for your viewing pleasure. This, however, isn't where the interesting features of this display end. Sony has also employed its WhiteMagic technology here in the Xperia T. What it does is allowing you to set the brightness of the display really high, but the extra white pixel comes at the expense of natural color representation, at least in the Xperia P. NFC is thrown into the ring here, too, for sharing media, files and mobile payments.

HTC Windows Phone 8S

The HTC Windows Phone 8S, the more affordable new Windows Phone 8 smartphone by HTC, has just been unveiled and it will enter direct competition with the Nokia Lumia 820.
The HTC 8S has a funky design with a brightly colored contrasted chin and a vividly colored earpiece. The device is pretty light at just 113 grams.
The hardware doesn’t shoot for the stars - instead it caters to budget minded consumers. We have a 4-inch WVGA (that’s 480 x 800 pixels) screen, a Snapdragon S4 chip with a 1.0GHz dual-core Krait processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that you can expand via microSD cards. There is a removable panel at the bottom where HTC has placed the micro SIM and microSD card slots. The battery is not removable, though.
HTC is including Beats Audio technology on this device to manage to differentiate itself in the Windows Phone arena.
At the back, we have a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.8 aperture, recording videos at 720p. One sore omission is a front facing camera, so there is no easy way to make video calls and make use of the built in Skype client.

HTC Windows Phone 8X

HTC Windows Phone 8X is company's flagship Windows Phone 8 coming with a powerful spec sheet wrapped in a svelte 0.39" body in nice candy colors. The 8X by HTC sports a 4.3" LCD 2 HD screen, which, if the One X display is any indication, should be a sight to behold, and has the respectable 342ppi pixel desnity. It ups the WP ante with a modern 28mm dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 chipset, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, thus equating its specs with the fierce WP8 competition in the face of the Samsung ATIV S, or the innnovative Nokia Lumia 920, which, however, has a lot more going for it with the PureView camera.
How does the HTC 8X intend to differentiate from those? Why, Beats Audio, of course. The prominent branding is featured proudly on the back of the phone, promising deep bass sound and clearer audio. "The Windows Phone 8X by HTC featuring Beats Audio also offers a unique audio amplifier powering the 3.5mm audio jack and the speaker, boosting the audio signal for even better sound no matter if you’re listening to music, playing a game or watching a video," says HTC.
As for the sniping capabilities, we have an 8MP shooter on the rear with dedicated shutter key, equipped with HTC's exclusive ImageSense technology, which is essentially a proprietary ISP, allowing for some additional photo trickery, like ultra fast capture times, and continuous shot mode that takes multiple frames per second. It sports ultra wide f/2.0 aperture, just like on the Lumia 920.
What's even more interesting, is that the 2MP front-facing shooter is with the same ultra wide 88 degree angle, "allowing up to four people and more to be captured at once", and can shoot 1080p video as well, which should make for some pretty clean and crowded Skype video calls.

Samsung GALAXY Note II AT&T

The Samsung Galaxy Note II for AT&T dwarfs the competition with its massive HD Super AMOLED display, which is also brighter and larger than the one on its predecessor. The screen has a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels and measures 5.5 inches in diagonal. Delivering all the processing power is a quad-core Exynos 4412 chip clocked at the whopping 1.6GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM, which is, without a doubt, a very capable hardware combination. On the back of the device resides an 8-megapixel camera with back-side illuminated sensor for better low-light performance, while a 1.9-megapixel front-facing cam, also of the BSI kind, makes video chats possible. The humongous 3,100mAh battery should be well capable of lasting through a day of moderate to heavy usage. The device relies on 4G LTE connectivity for accessing the internet whenever Wi-Fi isn't available.

LG Optimus G

LG Optimus G will allow the manufacturer to compete with the likes of other industry powerhouses such as the Samsung Galaxy S III. First thing you'll notice about the Nokia Lumia 820 is its colorful outfit and the unibody look of its construction. The smartphone will be available with red, yellow, grey, cyan, purple, white and black. interchangeable shells, some of which allow the device to be charged wirelessly. The next thing that grabs the audience's attention is the 4.3-inch display enhanced with ClearBlack technology allowing identical outdoor readability to that of the Lumia 920's screen. Its resolution is 480 by 800 pixels, which is a bit underwhelming, yet still acceptable for a mid-range device. Moreover, the screen supports Super Sensitive touch technology, meaning that using some of the smartphone's features is possible even if the user is wearing gloves. Underneath the hood of the Nokia Lumia 820 runs a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 1GB of RAM, which leads us to believe that performance won't be an issue with the smartphone, especially knowing how smoothly Windows Phone runs even on less capable hardware. There is an 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash on the smartphone's back, yet features like optical image stabilization and other PureView enhancements have been left out. Oh well, at least 1080p video can be captured at 30 frames per second. On the device's front resides a VGA camera for video chats and the occasional self-portrait.

Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia Lumia 920 is the first Windows Phone 8 flagship of the manufacturer with a modern dual-core processor, and the first with an HD screen. After all, this is what the competing mobile ecosystems have been offering in their flagships for a while now, so Nokia finally had to offer something to go spec-for-spec against the Android monstrosities, now that Microsoft caught up. Before we go into the things that set it apart from the competition, let's recap the specifications - we get a huge 4.5" screen with 1280x768 pixels of resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset with LTE radio to boot, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory plus 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage, and an 8MP camera on the back with ceramic zirconium camera detailing. The screen tech is called PureMotion HD+, meaning blur-free scrolling on the curved glass display. Nokia calls it the "fastest LCD display", with up to 2.5 times faster refresh rate and new supersensitive touch technology, that allows you to use it with gloves. A new ClearBlack technology iteration is in the Lumia 920, and it adapts to the outside brightness to minimize reflectance. ClearBlack is proven to give the best smartphone visibility outside in direct sunlight, so the screen should be a looker. Pixel density on the new display is 332ppi, a record in its class, and it also sports a high-brightness mode of 600 nits.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC

The Samsung ATIV Smart PC is an Intel Atom-based Windows 8 tablet with an 11.6-inch display and coming with a keyboard base. The Galaxy Note II is armed with a brighter and larger 5.5” HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. While this means that pixel density will be slightly lower compared to the original Note, in reality, the image quality shouldn't suffer any losses, as this screen used the standard RGB matrix, instead of PenTile, which means more subpixels, and ultimately – clarity. The bezel is slimmer, so despite the increase in screen size overall the device is not bigger. Powered by the same Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core processor that's also found in the Galaxy S III, but clocked up, to the whopping 1.6GHz, the Note II will have no trouble running any application you can think of. The G Note II features an 8-megapixel back-side illuminated (BSI) rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel BSI front shooter. The Samsung Galaxy Note II will ship in three versions - a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB ones, with memory expandable via up to 64GB microSD cards making it possible to have as much as 128GB storage. The CPU residing inside the Sony Xperia T is the trusty dual-core Snapdragon S4 with Adreno 225 graphics, so you are unlikely to feel underpowered with it. NFC is thrown into the ring here, too, for sharing media, files and mobile payments. When the light gets too low, you can use the devices dual LED flash to liven up your images, while using the red eye reduction for the inevitable bugaboo that results from using a flash. The camera also takes 720p video, which should look great when reviewing it on the 4.7” super LCD screen. The Titan II also brings with it an enlarged 1730mAH battery, which hopefully will help offset the inevitable battery drain of using LTE.

Sony Xperia ion

Sony Xperia ion is the first phone that is just Sony (no Ericsson here), which was expected after Sony bought the Ericsson share out of the joint venture. It is landing exclusively on AT&T's LTE network, just to spice things up. It is the first dual-core Xperia phone; it features 4.55" HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon, 16GB of internal memory, plus a whopping 12MP camera with Exmor R sensor. As was mentioned, the Sony Xperia ion will sport LTE connectivity, rounding up a pretty formidable Android high-end, which we can't wait to get our mitts on, and give this 12MP camera on the back the review treatment. Sony claims that it takes under two seconds to get the camera from standby mode to image capture, so speed will be on our side with the humongous 12MP sensor as well.

Samsung GALAXY Note LTE

This phone is AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy Note. It is coming with LTE connectivity and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor. The other specs between the already launched overseas model and the U.S. model are supposed to be the same including the 5.29 inch WXGA Super AMOLED screen. 1GB of RAM is aboard with 16GB of native storage included. That can be pumped up to as much as 48GB using a microSD card. The 8MP camera on back has AF and captures video at 1080p (at 30fps). The front-facing camera weighs in at 2MP for self-portraits and video chat.

Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD

Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD comes in LTE flavor and with the well-known 4.65" HD Super AMOLED display with 720x1280 pixels.
